Pass Plus Scheme

The objective of the Pass Plus scheme is to give new drivers experience in a wider variety of situations and conditions than is required for the L test. The pass plus scheme was set up by the DSA to encourage further driver education to make newly qualified drivers better drivers.

The course consists of driving:

  • In towns
  • Out of towns
  • In all weather conditions
  • At night (Night Lessons)
  • On dual carriageways
  • On motorways (Motorway Lessons)

Training can be taken up to one year after passing the practical test and once completed you can save you money on your car insurance.

Pass plus cost just £160 for as much practice as you need to be confident in the areas covered.
